PE

Our PE unit is currently swimming. Swimming takes place at Peter Lloyd on a Tuesday afternoon. ALL children are required to wear a swim hat.

Daily Homework

Reading.

It is important for your child to read a few pages each night. Where possible, please ensure that your child's reading record is signed on a daily basis as they will be rewarded with dojos. We allow children in Year 6 to sign their own reading diaries if nobody at home can do so.

Weekly Homework

Spellings.

On Monday, children will be given a range of spellings from the expected words lists and words to assist the learning of general spelling rules. They will then be tested on the following Friday.

Times Tables.

It is vital that the children know their times tables. Please ensure that your child practises their times tables regularly, as they will be tested on these every Friday. Your child should know which times table they are currently learning.

SPaG/Maths Homework.

With the SATs in May, children will be given SPaG/Maths homework every week in the form of a CGP  workbook. This will be given on a Monday and due in on a Friday.

Please look after these books.
