Welcome Parents/Carers to our weekly newsletter.

Mrs Jones and the Roscoe team.

Year 6 Residential

A very busy week in Year 6 this week! Children visited PGL Boreatton Park for their final residential visit. The staff at PGL commented that our Y6 children were possibly the nicest bunch they've ever had the pleasure of working with. Big thanks to Mrs Hayes, Mr Backhouse and Miss Owens for giving up their time to support and encourage our children at PGL. Children have also been working hard practising their leavers' show.

Football Tournament

Year 5 children went to Thomas Gray primary this week to take part in an Academy inter-form football tournament. The children played well managing two draws and a win. Go Team Rosco?!

Beatles Museum

Year 2 had a great time visiting The Beatles Story last week. The children learnt about Beatle Mania, were able to view the guitars and memorabilia, and play with the giant piano! The children then brought their learning back to school and completed some lovely English work showcasing their knowledge of The Beatles. In assembly, Year 2 loved singing Yellow Submarine too. Thank you to the volunteers for supporting the trip.

St Andrews

Our Year 1 children visited St Andrews' Church this week to learn about the special items in a church and why they are important to Christians. Thank you so much to Curate Kate for taking the time to teach our children and to the three parent volunteers for supporting the trip.
