LFC Meet the Author

Ten of our Year 4 and 5 children were invited to Anfield to meet Ben Littleton, who is a British football journalist and author! Each child who attended was gifted with a book from the author, and they also got to meet mighty red!

Catalyst Museum - Year 5

Year 5 had a fantastic school trip to the Catalyst Museum today. They had a workshop all about ‘destination space’, where they learnt about the distance between planets, the temperatures and infrared light effects, and they also witnessed two rocket experiments taking place. They then had a chance to explore the amazing interactive exhibit floors on offer.

Catalyst Museum - Year 6

What an amazing day Year 6 had at the Catalyst Museum! They loved the fun, hands-on exhibits. So many interactive activities: animate science, solar panels, time capsules, air table, scarf shooter, thermal camera, microscopes and even a chance to present our own weather report! I’m sure the children will tell you all about it!

LFC Year 5 Workshop

On Thursday, the children enjoyed a workshop with the LFC Foundation, where they discussed the topic of gender inequality.

Latest News

Big Walk and Wheel

Roscoe is taking part in the big walk and wheel for the next two weeks. The school council will be collecting information on who has cycled, walked or scooted to school so that we can be in the chance of winning some whole-school prizes! If your child comes to school in a car, and would still like to take part, the rules say you can park your car a little way from school and finish your journey on foot and this will count towards the tally.

Book Fair

Next week we will have 2 book fairs running after school! We have scholastic book fair along with our PTA book sale.

Easter Bonnet

On Thursday 3rd April, children are invited to make an Easter bonnet and bring it into school for the Easter bonnet parade! This is always an egg-citing day in school as we see children’s homemade creations. There are prizes to be won for each class for ingenuity, creativity and children’s egg-cellent work and effort.
