St Andrews Church

Reception to Year 6 had a lovely morning at St Andrews on Thursday. We took part in the Easter service where Reverend Will and the children began their celebrations for the Easter period. Thank you to St Andrews church for inviting us over. I would like to give special thanks to the parents and carers who volunteered their time to walk our children over to the church.

School Council

A few members of our school council were invited to the town hall. Our school council are working with the city council to improve our local communities; our ideas are being taken seriously as we share ideas about improving our community around our schools and how we can help others within our community.

Easter

Our Easter bonnet parade on Thursday was egg-cellent! Each class had the opportunity to show off their creative and colourful hats, filled with flowers, bunnies, and all sorts of Easter decorations. There was a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Take a look at some of our Easter bonnets below.

Goodbye and Good Luck

Today we say goodbye to Miss Duffy who is spreading her teaching wings and joining a new school after the Easter break. We want to thank Miss Duffy for her hard work and care during her time at Roscoe. Miss O'Neill, who works in nursery, is also leaving us. We will miss Miss O'Neill in our nursery, but we know she will be amazing in her new role. We also want to say goodbye and good luck to Jemma, one of our amazing cleaners, and Mr Radford, who supports our reception children over lunchtime. Roscoe will miss you dearly.
