Reading. It is so important for your child to read a few pages each night as this has a huge effect on their confidence and progress in all other areas. Where possible, please ensure that your child's reading record is signed on a daily basis as they will be rewarded with dojos for this !
Weekly homework: Spellings - On a Tuesday, the children will be given words from the year 5/6 expected words list or words to assist the learning of general spelling rules, they will be tested on these the following Tuesday.
X Tables - It is vital that the children know their times tables, as these impact on everything we do within lessons involving Maths. Please ensure that your child practices their times tables regularly, as they will be tested on these every Tuesday.
Don't forget to log on to TT Rockstars!
Will you make the school leader board?
Project based homework: The children will be given homework based on our topic, this homework will range between a written or art-based project.
