Welcome to the Summer term!
Thank you to all our lovely parents for supporting us through the Spring term and thank you to those who attended parents evening :)
Our new topic has been inspired by the children and it is Under the Sea. We have been lucky enough to have had a visit from AQUALEASE, who brought their rock pool to our school and we all got to hold a starfish, hermit crab and a spider crab. We were very brave.
We are spending more time outdoors in the nice weather, developing our social, emotional and physical skills, so please remember to send your child to school with a named water bottle and with sun cream already applied.
We are getting our Nursery 2 children ready for Reception this term so please continue to encourage them to become more confident dressing and undressing, washing hands and with their toilet needs.
We will update the page soon with our new twitter account.
I would like to thank you for bringing your £1 snack money in each Friday. We really appreciate your support as it ensures we can provide a healthy and varied snack each day. We will continue to collect this during drop off.
Our first topic this year is 'Stomp Dinosaur Stomp'. Throughout this term children will engage with lots of different activities related to dinosaurs.
Just a gentle reminder about snack money. We would really appriciate your donation of £1 each week for a variety of snacks each day for the children. Could this please be passed to me on a Friday morning.
Times of the day
8.30 - 11.30
12.30 - 3.30
We ask children to be brought to the main entrance where Miss Denton and Mrs Steadman will collect them and bring them into school. Children will be collected from the same doors at the end of their session.
Change of Clothes
We ask parents to bring a change of clothes for children daily, please provide a change of bottoms, t-shirt, underwear and socks.
If you wish to discuss any issues, concerns or worries regarding you child please do not hesitate to raise them with myself (Miss Woodward, Mrs Steadman and Miss Murphy) no matter how small. Additionally we would love for you to share any exciting news you and your child have.
We hope you have a fantastic year and continue to visit our page for updates and photos of us all having lots of fun learning.
