Welcome to Spring 2 to all of our lovely parents and children!

Spring 2 is another busy term with lots of fun learning planned for our children.

We will be starting the term with a sponsored walk raising money for the charity, Children with Cancer. Children have taken home sponsor forms and thanks to your support we have already raised over £100!

This term, as well as learning about shape in Maths and reading Matilda in English, we will be continuing to learn about the Romans which the children are really enjoying. We will also be learning about the wonderful artist Vincent Van Gogh!

As always, if you need any information about your child's learning do not hesitate to contact me.

Autumn 1.

Our topic this half term is The Stone, Bronze and Iron age. We have just been on school trip to Wrexham, where we learnt all about the Celtic way of life from the Stone age to the Iron age. Please have a look at our pictures below.

We are also learning all about rocks and fossils during Science this half term. We have already taken part in a rock hunt around the school playground and visited our onsite wooded area to collect rocks. We had so much fun.

The children of 3K are committed to hard work and dedication. One of our class rules, which we agreed upon together, is to  always try our best and never give up. Each and every one of the children of 3K are superstars! We can't wait to learn and make lots of memories this school year.

I have recently sent out a copy of the curriculum overview for you to refer to. If you did not receive this please don't hesitate to contact me and I will send one home.

This page will be updated throughout the year!
